Welcome to your wedding…Taylor Swift is waiting for you.
The “1989” singer surprised Edward and Meg McNoble at their wedding on Saturday with a bottle of Dom Pérignon.
“Rumor has it you might be using my song in your wedding celebration which makes me so happy!” the singer penned in a handwritten note to the couple. “Here’s to this amazing day of your continuing love story. Love, Taylor.”
The wedding included not one but two Swift singles: “Welcome to New York” as they entered the reception and “Love Story” for their first dance.
Edward McNoble, 31, told the Daily News that one of his groomsmen works for a company that organizes event planning in New York and had heard that Swift was looking for weddings to crash in the area.
The bride and groom were married at The Carltun in East Meadow on Saturday, a St. Patrick’s Day spectacular with 270 of their closest friends and family members — an “epic” Irish celebration.
“She would be upset she missed it,” McNoble joked.
The champagne was delivered to the venue ahead of the wedding and hidden upstairs until the couple arrived. The surprise wasn’t Swift herself, much to Meg’s disappointment, but the bubbly was enough of a treat.
